The replacement retaining filter cage is an essential component for the Predator and Shadow gutter vacuums, designed to enhance functionality and protect vital parts.
1. Supports the Head: The cage provides sturdy support for the vacuum head during removal from the drum, ensuring ease of use and preventing potential damage.
2. Protects the Cloth Filter: When using an optional cloth filter, the cage prevents the filter from being drawn into the float valve unit, maintaining optimal performance and avoiding blockages (see photo gallery for reference).
Important Note: This filter cage is specifically designed for the Predator and Shadow models and is not compatible with other gutter vacuums.
