These replacement foam/sponge filters are specifically designed for wet-use applications and are compatible with the Panther, Shadow, and Predator gutter vacuums. When attaching or removing the foam filter, care must be taken to secure it properly to the lip of the float valve housing using the elastic. This ensures a snug fit while minimizing the risk of tearing, as demonstrated in the video below. The filter effectively guards the motor against solid debris and prevents larger clumps of moss or other solids from obstructing the float valve during operation.

Cleaning the filter is simple: remove it, rinse under running water or a hose, air dry, and reattach to the float valve housing as shown in the instructions. It is important not to let slurry dry on the filter, as this could allow dry debris to bypass the sponge and enter the motor.

Note: These filters are not compatible with the float valves of the GVS 3000 or GVS 3600 vacuum models. Ensure compatibility before purchase to maintain optimal performance.
